Next on our trip, we drove to Williamsburg, Virginia where we were the remainder of the time. We were very grateful to stay at this beautiful place. It was located on old plantation property. The brick house was well preserved and restored. The site was so pretty and was covered with LOTS of green grass, a little lake behind us and trees & trails. We could walk to a little General Store for necessities and also walk to the pools, rec. center and playground.
The "Fifer & Drummer" in front of the Plantation House. This is what our Musicians would have looked like in the Revolutionary War.
The LAKE
Goodness I love these guys!
I felt like we were surrounded by animals on this trip. The kids called them our pets...as close as they'll ever get to that being a reality!
The CRANE
The GEESE
(can't tell you how many times we had to stop for them to cross the road) & They left Poop everywhere!

I LOVE this picture of the older two. I often viewed this site at night. I had bought them cheap little journals for the trip and they thoroughly enjoyed writing in them at night before bed.

Audra what a trip!!! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share a little bit of it with you. Every day I checked your blog so excited to see where you went next. Also, I am so impressed with your birthday tributes. You really know how to make people feel so special.
I LOVE the pic of Kaylea laughing! That is so precious! I can't get enough of cute little kids being that happy.
Williamsburg is right next to my parents house. We've never actually been there except to drive through. I think we got french fries there once. :)
