I tried to get him to study but he refused...he wanted to "wing it." Then later seeing the nervous look on his face while on stage, I'm thinking he wished he would have.
Spence made it through 4 rounds or so, meanwhile eliminating 1/2 the 4th Grade. His word was SIGNIFICANT which he spelled s. i. g. n. i. f. a. ....BEEP!........ {cue bell}
He was frustrated that he felt like he of course knew EVERY OTHER word given after that. That's usually how it goes right?...
He did great though and made us proud.☺

Way to go Spence! I've been stumped by many a word before myself---in many cases much easier than SIGNIFICANT. Audra as always, well done! You are doing a terrific job with those cute kiddies of yours.
