Being the sentimental person that I am, I love to recreate moments. So I had Daylan wear the same shirt that Spencer did on his 1st day of school & even recreate the "goodbye kiss" in front of the door. |

Did I mention that just his bus ride home is almost an hour long?! It's alright though because there are plenty of friends on the bus so we'll chalk it up as "Friend Time."
It was a good day & will be a good year.
*But if only I could just freeze time
& slow down the growing-up process...

Wow! Back to school already?! We don't go back until the 23rd! And I can't believe Spencer is already in Middle School! I just started last year and I'm finishing this year! He's going to have to take 4 years of it? Hopefully he'll have a better experience then I did. They closed down my school and now I have to go to a new one! And Daylan is soooooo cute!
Oh my gosh. That "re-created" picture at the door is so precious. I can't believe how fast they're growing up...I think I just got my own lump in my throat. :)
What Spence is in midle school???? Did he skip a grade or something? Skyler is going into 5th and he started school as a young kinder??? Maybe your middle school starts at 5th, fill me in. I love the picts, I especially loved how you recreated the scene from 5 years earlier!
I love it!!! One thing with homeschooling is that we don't get to "do" the whole first day of school thing, which I miss a little bit. I love how you recreated the first day picture. What precious memories...

I LOVE these pictures! They're soo stinking cute! our first day is tomorrow...I'm sure it'll be a bunch of monkey faces. My kids are n uts!
