*Temple Lights*

~Cousins @ the Temple Lights-Opening Night
(don't know why my kids are the ones being goobers
-making faces with their hoodies on & notice dude is asleep in his carseat.)

*We were lucky enough to get to the Temple grounds before they turned the lights on for the season. It was a neat experience to be there surrounded by many people yet also silence before the lights went on & then chills when they turned on and lit up the sky
*A light unto the world=Literally!*
*To me a Temple is a symbol of so many things. Most of all a symbol of peace reminding us of our Heavenly home. I've come to learn that if you really really listen, you will ALWAYS hear or feel the Holy Ghost whispering truths. As we were there, there were protestors as there sometimes can be, but ya know if they only knew it just makes it all the more clear to us. Our choices & the voice of the Lord do NOT change with the changing times. And how comforting that is to know. Makes me think of these scriptures:

"For I am the Lord, I change not...."~Malachi 3:6

"What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken, and I excuse not myself; and though the heavens and the earth pass away, my word shall not pass away, but shall all be  fulfilled, whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same."
~Doctrine & Covenants 1:38

"Therefore, let your hearts be comforted concerning Zion; for all flesh is in mine hands; be still and know that I am God." ~D&C 101:16
