*King upon his "throne"

*Dude is attempting to "potty-train", although my guess is it will still be a long while. He just happened to have that king hat on when he went "poo-poos". (You see, he goes in his diaper first & then wants to sit on the toilet.)
So here he is.. the king upon his "throne."

That is pretty priceless. At least he is showing interest in the potty, that is a start!

Tell me some of your ways of potty training. I've been trying for about 7-8 months now. He understands the concept, but just isn't sticking to use it for his everyday use.

Danae..he's probably still just too young. I did the same with Spence. At 18 months he acted interested & I got all excited..but that didn't last. He wasn't going consistently till 3!! I hear it's a BOY thing, but obviously different for every kid. I BRIBE my kids with m& m's , marshmallows whatever just to get em on the pot & used to it. Even if he just sits on the toilet, he'll get the treat, but I don't make him go. good luck, we'll be doing this together.

That is the cutest stinkin picture ever!!!
Neither of my kids trained til 3and a half...mostly because of us. We had SOO many big road trips while we lived in Texas, we figured we'd rather change diapers at the end that stop a billion times, or clean it off of the carseat. We're lazy!

I HATED potty training Marina. And I got the pleasure of doing it twice cause she decided she didn't want to use the potty anymore after we moved to Pittsburgh and wouldn't use it again for about 6 months. Bribing is always good too!
