 beautiful history
Looking over the Jamestown cemetery located behind the church.

We were surprised to have such strong emotions here in this place. For a moment it actually felt as if these were my own ancestors and I guess in a way they are all of ours. Our progenitors that paved the way for this country..one slow step at a time. As we visited these sites and recognized how many gave so much for this country, we were simultaneously watching the news at night and seeing the stock market crash and the economy crumble. It gave us such a different perspective than probably most people back at home. Being in these places, we realized that this was only a blip in our history and that compared to the events of our countries past, this was something we could endure and learn from.
